Dense Blazing Star (bundle of 4)

Dense Blazing Star is a well-known native for pollinator gardens, with low growing foliage and purple firecracker-like blooms in midsummer. This is a very well-behaved, low growing perennial that prefers drier soils and is a great addition to any pollinator garden. According to Sam Thayer, the roots of liatris species can be edible, but we haven’t tried these.
