About Us

Beaverkill Nursery is a family run plant nursery in Livingston Manor, New York. We specialize in native and edible perennial plants, native seeds, and locally adapted annual seeds.

We grow our native plants from locally and regionally collected seeds when possible, and source from reputable seed suppliers otherwise. We strive to grow healthy plants with minimal inputs so that they will be robust and easy to grow for our customers. 

We sell most of our plants bare root in the fall and spring. Planting perennials during the dormant season allows them to acclimate to the soil and reduces water stress in the first year. It also allows us to use less potting soil and plastic materials.
