THESE SEEDLINGS WERE DAMAGED BY RABBITS, ON SALE FOR $5. They still have active buds and should fully recover over the next growing season. 

These hybrid hazelnut bareroot seedlings are grown from seeds coming from Twisted Tree Farm and are a selection from highly productive bushes with original genetics originating in the midwest.

Hazelnuts are productive shrubs which produce well even in short growing seasons and are great shrubs for hillside plantings in sunny locations in the Catskills. We have healthy hazelnuts growing in multiple different soil types, although well-drained soil is preferred for nut production and overall health.
